Desk, standing desk, coffee table in Big Leaf Maple Burl and epoxy

$2,250.00

  • Details
This adjustable standing desk is exquisite although we say it ourselves. We used a hard-to-find single slab of Big Leaf Maple Burl big enough to make a desk with this much figure. We cut it down the middle, flipped one side over and filled the gap with translucent blue epoxy. We used a mica pigment so there are subtle clouds and swirls.

The standing table base shown is fully adjustable from 30 in to 50 in, so it's a sitting desk when you want one too. It's good to move around during the day. Just Google "vivo standing desk" on Amazon to find it. 48 in x 24 in is a standard size.

All slabs are either reclaimed or sustainably grown with plenty of character, sourced from trusted mills. Because slabs like these are significantly harder to find than straight-grained Walnut or Maple, they cost correspondingly more from the supplier. Hence this desk is a bit pricier. But completely worth it, right?
